The Apple iPod: USB-C and Bluetooth Mod is a kit of custom boards that lets you upgrade your device by replacing the original 30-pin connector with a modern, universal USB-C connector. It also adds Bluetooth audio connectivity, allowing you to connect wireless headphones or speakers and control the music using the controls on the headphones or speakers.

The upgrade is designed to keep the original iPod experience while adding modern connectivity and convenience. The custom boards are designed to fit inside the original device and integrate with its existing hardware, with USB-C for charging and data and Bluetooth audio for wireless playback. The original controls and functionality are preserved, while the new hardware is designed to make the iPod easier to use with modern accessories.
