This product is a modified version of the Nintendo 2DS & 3DS USB-C Kit. It’s not a substitute but rather an alternative for customers who need specific functionalities.

This product includes a shorter USB-C connector with data connection support. This means you can solder components to the USB board that require the connector to send or receive data via the USB protocol. The most common use case is for video capture boards that send video via USB to a computer. With this kit, you can have your 2DS or 3DS equipped with a single connector for both power and data, instead of needing two connectors: one for power and another for data.
